Five Mile Spring Survey

Each Spring we ask parents and students for input on their class preferences and thoughts about our school. These surveys are anonymous and will provide us with information which will help us plan for next year. Please take a moment to complete the surveys and submit by Friday, March 30th.

Highly Capable Referrals

The period for referring a student for K-12 Highly Capable (Gifted) evaluation is open from January - February for possible designation in the 18-19 school year. Anyone can refer a student for consideration. Nomination form attached.

Congratulations are in Order!

Congratulations to one of our seniors, Kristen Sievert who has been named a 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalist. She, along with eight other students from the Spokane region, will continue to compete for scholarships totaling more than $32 million. Way to go Kristen!

Fifth Time in Six Years!

We've done it again! Five Mile Prairie has earned a School of Distinction award. This award recognizes outstanding improvement in reading and math, sustained over a five-year period of time. The formal awards ceremony will take place at ESD101 on Friday, October 21, 2016. Only 94 schools in the state receive this award, including 12 from the Spokane region. Congratulations to the students, staff and parents at Five Mile Prairie School. We could not be more proud!
